Media Consent & Release Policy

Welcome to Eloud Nation Limited (“Eloud Nation”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Media Consent & Release Policy explains how audio, video, photographs, and other media may be recorded and used when you attend studio sessions, events, recordings, or productions at our premises.
By booking a session, participating in a recording, attending an event, or entering our premises where recording is taking place, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
1. Who We Are

2. Consent to Record
By participating in any session, production, or event at Eloud Nation, you grant us permission to:
- Record your voice, image, likeness, and performance
- Capture photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, and behind-the-scenes content
- Record interviews, podcasts, rehearsals, performances, studio sessions, and promotional content
Recording may occur in music studios, podcast studios, event spaces, common areas, or during branded events.
3. How We May Use Media
You grant Eloud Nation the right to use, edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display recorded media for:
- Social media marketing
- Website content
- Promotional materials
- Digital advertising
- Portfolio and showreels
- Event promotions
- Brand partnerships
- Internal training or documentation
There is no geographic limitation on use. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, consent is granted without time limitation.
4. Ownership of Content
4.1 Client-Created Studio Content
Raw music recordings, podcasts, and commissioned creative works produced during paid sessions remain the intellectual property of the client, subject to full payment and agreed contractual terms.
4.2 Promotional & Behind-the-Scenes Content
Behind-the-scenes footage, promotional recordings, event coverage, and marketing materials produced by Eloud Nation remain the property of Eloud Nation. Eloud Nation retains copyright in promotional materials it creates.
5. Compensation
Unless agreed in writing, participation in recordings does not entitle you to additional compensation for promotional use. Studio session payment constitutes sufficient consideration.
6. Content Responsibility
You confirm that:
- You are responsible for the legality of content you create.
- You have obtained necessary rights and permissions for copyrighted materials used.
- Your content does not violate Nigerian law or third-party rights.
Eloud Nation is not liable for copyright infringement or unlawful content created by clients.
7. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, you release Eloud Nation, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims relating to:
- Use of recorded media
- Defamation or misrepresentation claims
- Invasion of privacy claims
- Any compensation claims beyond agreed contractual payments
8. Minors
Individuals under 18 years of age must provide written parental or guardian consent before participating in any recorded session. Eloud Nation reserves the right to refuse recording without verified consent.
9. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw consent for future promotional use by submitting a written request to:
admin.hr@eloudnation.com
- Withdrawal does not affect media already published before the request.
- Withdrawal does not apply to contractual creative works already delivered.
We will process valid requests within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.
10. Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with media participation is processed in accordance with:
- Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019
- Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023

11. Governing Law
This Media Consent & Release Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably. Where resolution fails, disputes may be referred to arbitration in Lagos in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
12. Acceptance
By booking a session, entering studio premises during a recording, or participating in any Eloud Nation production, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this Policy
- Agree to its terms
- Are legally capable of granting consent
